The Sound
Somewhere between euphoria and depth
Hard to put in a box. What Nick Waves & Pablo Perez play moves between Afro House and Tech House — rhythmic, sometimes vocal-heavy, sometimes stripped back to nothing but the groove. Think that moment on the dancefloor where your eyes close and you stop thinking. That’s the zone they’re after.
Artists like Black Coffee, Keinemusik, Shimza, Marten Lou, ANOTR, Chris Stussy, Maxi Meraki — all part of the DNA. The Ibiza house sound runs through a lot of it too. But copying? Never. The style they play today grew over years of digging, mixing, and figuring out what actually works on a floor.
One thing that doesn’t bend: quality. Every track in a set was either produced, received from the artist, or bought in full quality. No YouTube rips. No dodgy downloads. What comes out of the speakers has to sound the way it was meant to sound.

Event Series
ALMOST HOLY
ALMOST HOLY started as an idea between friends and turned into a proper event series in Cologne. Afro House, Tech House — sometimes trance, sometimes bounce, depending on the mood. The venue so far: Club Zimmermanns, a basement spot on Venloer Straße with the kind of raw energy bigger clubs often lack.
The concept is dead simple. Good music. Good crowd. No nonsense. No guest lists, no dress codes, no egos. Just a dark room full of people who showed up because they care about the music.
Equipment
Gear
Nicolas loves gear. That’s not a secret. The current rig: two Pioneer CDJ-3000s, a DJM-V10, the TEILE Revolo for creative effects, an RMX-1000 and AlphaTheta RMX Ignite for live processing, and an Eventide H90 that splits time between guitar sessions and studio work. They bring their own setup to every gig. Full control, no surprises.
